Two Homes – One Story

Welcome!

Three years ago, we washed ashore onto Cape Cod and bought a special home in Harwich Port, Cape Cod. Corner lot, English gardens, 4 bedrooms, garage, shed, office – charm around every turn – and just 1 mile to town & 1.5 miles to Bank Street Beach. We had been looking for the perfect house for a long time!

Built in 1820 this house has a long history of summer memories on Cape Cod and its beautiful land and gardens were cared for meticulously! We restored, updated & are mindfully caring for this piece of history for many years to come!

About Me

Hi, Iā€™m Donna, previously Director of Community Affairs, Communications & Engagement in the corporate world (pic is not me, šŸ™‚ but Ollie, our 14-year-old English Cream little love).

English Literature Major and Journalism Minor, my first job was writing for the Enterprise Newspaper in Westchester County, New York. I have always been fascinated by the written word.

I owned Schmidt Communications where I assisted businesses with strategizing creative, marketing programs, writing hundreds of feature stories, content and short film scripts.

Many years ago I worked at the Marriott Marquis in NYC as a Tour and Travel Manager.

I love fresh food, awesome wine and all things grown. My two adult children, husband, mini-dachshund Ollie, extended family (and furry grandchildren – Molly & Gideon) are my life.
